Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan got a whole lot more than a suntan while on vacation in Mooney Falls, Arizona-she also gained a fiancГ© in White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech!

The baseball player, 23, popped the question to his girlfriend of one year in front of a picturesque waterfall.

Kopech shared a sweet video from the couple's big moment via Instagram on Wednesday, July 3, that showed him taking a knee as the actress covered her mouth with her hands in surprise before throwing her arms around her future husband.

“So I'll start with the obvious: I love you,” Kopech began a lengthy caption. “I love you intensely, passionately, & also at times, recklessly.”

Kopech went on to reveal that his uber-romantic proposal hadn't exactly been planned. “I make decisions on the spur of the moment (i mean look at how our relationship has gone up to this point). I'm a very non-traditional type of person and I know I've found my match in you when it comes to that especially,” he quipped. “Our relationship probably doesn't make sense to many people for a sh*t ton of reasons, but we're not doing it for them. We know this is forever. Why would we wait? lol.”

The athlete, who underwent UCL surgery in September 2018, continued: “You literally stayed by my side when I felt I had lost my mind. You stayed by my side for these seemingly random changes of my life. You stayed when often times I didn't deserve it. You've loved me for ME from day one. Completely unselfishly. You're undeniably the spark that reignited my fire. You're deserving of much more than just this moment but this one just felt particularly magical.”

He concluded by saying that he was “humbled” by his bride-to-be's love and promising to always show her his love in return. “I'll finish this how I started,” he wrote. “I love you. SO MUCH.”

Morgan also shared a photo from Kopech's proposal, writing, “My Forever,” along with a ring emoji and a black heart.

The Teen Choice Awards winner's Riverdale costars expressed their excitement in the comments below. “You're kidding me!! Congrats beautiful,” Camila Mendes wrote, with Lili Reinhart adding, “!!!!!!! So so happy for you!!!”

Charles Melton also chimed in with a single red heart emoji.

Morgan's BFF, Madelaine Petsch, was perhaps most excited of all, however, writing, “Omggggg dying for this post. Bestie's getting married!!!!!!! I'm beyond happy for you my little babies.”

Following all the hullaballoo, Morgan shared several videos from their scenic vacation, including a shot of Kopech sitting shirtless on a rock, which she captioned, “Mine. Mine. Mine.”

The actress also gave fans a glimpse of the pair's fun-filled activities, which included swinging from a rope before dropping into the glistening water below.

Kopech previously dated Don't Be Tardy's Brielle Biermann from 2016 to March 2018. Morgan made her debut on his Instagram four months later in July 2018 and the pair have been seemingly inseparable ever since.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
